Infrastructure 

A. At Temporary Training facility:

The temporary training facility of NIELIT Agartala Centre already commissioned in the nearly 7,000 sq. ft. of built up area located at two buildings namely, (1) 2nd Floor of Directorate of Information Technology Building and (2) the adjacent SEPT building have the following infrastructure. It has the capacity to train about 200+ trainees annually.

   1. 6(six) Full fledged Lecture Halls/ Class rooms with 20-30 seating capacity.
   2. 2(two) Computer Labs with 20 PC’s in each.
   3. 2(two) Hardware labs with 10 PC’s each.
   4. All Classrooms will have PC, LCD Projector and White board as training aid.
   5. Internet connectivity to all PCs in the campus.
   6. One Library cum reading room with sufficient quantity of books relevant to the courses/trainings
       conducted.
   7. One Conference Hall (14 seater).
   8. Office of the Director.
   9. Cabins for HOD’s (Technical & Non-Technical).
  10. 2(two) nos. of Faculty Room(s).
  11. Office for Administration and Accounts departments.
  12. Reception cum Counseling with Visitors area.
  13. Dedicated 100 KVA Power Transformer.
  14. Silent type Diesel Generator of 50 KVA capacity for stand by power.
  15. Water Coolers (being installed before onset of summer).
  16. Toilets at convenient places.
  17. Canteen (Under Process)
   

B. At the Permanent Campus:

  The permanent campus is being set up near the Industrial Growth Centre at Radha Kishore Nagar Mouza near Agartala on the 15.00 Acre plot of land that has been handed over to DOEACC Society by the Govt. of Tripura on 10th February’2009, will have a full fledged Campus with the following facilities,

  1. One Administrative block with Library, Conference/Seminar halls etc.
  2. One Academic block with adequate number of Classrooms/ Lecture Halls, Computer Labs, Common rooms for Boys and Girls etc.
  3. Hostels for Boys and Girls with Warden’s Quarter.
  4. One Workshop.
  5. Staff Quarters for emergency staff.
  6. One Guest House.
  7. One Auditorium.
  8. A Community Centre with Medical Inspection Room.
  9. A Security Barrack.
  10. An Electrical Substation.
  11. Water Treatment Plant.
  12. Pavilion Cum Sports Club and a Play Ground.
  13. Underground & Overhead water Reservoirs with Campus water supply network.
  14. Campus Lighting and Campus Power distribution with sufficient dedicated Power Transformers and DG Backup power.
  15. Internal Roads, Boundary/Retention wall & Campus drainage system etc.
  16. Properly landscaped Campus.
  17. Etc.

  It will take 3-4 years to develop the above-mentioned infrastructure. The Civil construction works is expected to start within 2009 on completion of necessary formalities.

  The above infrastructure would be capable of training 600-700 trainees annually in various training programs/ courses proposed to be conducted.

  The facilities created at the temporary training facility at Indranagar, Agartala would be shifted/ transferred to the permanent campus on it’s commissioning.
